“Wildlife, big skys, and the smell of pine trees, instantly takes me back to my days growing up in Montana.  They make me think of all the time I spent admiring, drawing, and emulating the Native Americans, cowboys, and wild creatures that have roamed the very mountains I was playing in.  These people had such character and toughness as did the animals and wildlife they shared the land with.  My aim is to capture in oil paintings the beauty and power of nature, along with the people of that era.  In an era where concrete and technology are prominent in our daily lives, the goal with my art is to open a window into natures endless landscapes and an appreciation for the individuals that have found synergy with it. ”
